Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Consultant in Cybersecurity to join our team. The Associate Consultant will work closely with senior consultants and clients to assess, design, and implement cybersecurity solutions. This role involves analyzing security risks, supporting the development of security strategies, and assisting in the execution of technical and advisory services to protect client systems and data. The ideal candidate is passionate about cybersecurity, eager to learn, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Risk Assessments: Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify potential threats and weaknesses in client systems.

Security Implementation: Assist in the deployment and configuration of security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.

Policy and Compliance: Support the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA).

Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including analyzing security incidents, documenting findings, and recommending remediation steps.

Client Support: Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs, provide technical guidance, and deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation on assessment findings, security recommendations, and project outcomes.

Security Awareness: Assist in developing and delivering security awareness training for client employees.

Research and Development: Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices to enhance service offerings.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including senior consultants, engineers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality cybersecurity services.

Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of internal processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance service delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Familiarity with incident response processes and forensic analysis.
Exposure to DevSecOps practices or tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).
